Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the on-site lawn mowing, lawn care, and related basic gardening services provided by the Curbgrasscut brand and its website within the United Kingdom.
By submitting a booking request, purchasing services, or paying a service deposit via the Curbgrasscut website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the relevant service descriptions, pricing information, booking requirements, and these terms and conditions.
- Company and Service Information
Brand: Curbgrasscut
Address: 156 Brabham Crescent, Streetly, Sutton Coldfield B74 2BW, United Kingdom
Phone: +44 7999 292827
Email: mowing@curbgrasscut.com
Curbgrasscut primarily provides on-site lawn mowing services to residential and other eligible properties within designated service areas in the UK.
Actual service coverage and booking availability may vary based on factors such as property location, lawn condition, lawn size, site access conditions, and specific service requirements.
- Scope of Service
Curbgrasscut provides on-site lawn mowing services based on the service options selected by the customer and the details confirmed in the booking.
Specific service content may be determined by the following factors:
Service options selected by the customer;
Descriptions on the relevant service pages of the website;
Information submitted by the customer regarding lawn size and condition;
Property address provided at the time of booking;
Lawn height, density, and overall maintenance condition;
Site access conditions;
Additional service requests made by the customer and subsequently confirmed;
Booking details finally confirmed by Curbgrasscut.
Unless explicitly included on the service page or in the booking confirmation, tasks such as trimming, lawn edging, grass clipping cleanup, weeding, flowerbed maintenance, hedge trimming, waste removal, or other additional gardening work are not automatically considered part of the service.
- Service Prices and Deposits
Unless explicitly stated otherwise on specific service pages, prices displayed on the website may represent only a “service deposit,” intended primarily to reserve a service slot and initiate the scheduling process.
This service deposit does not necessarily represent the final total price for the lawn mowing service. The final service fee will be determined based on actual conditions, such as:
Lawn area;
Lawn height and growth condition;
Current maintenance status of the lawn;
Property accessibility;
Requirements for edging and trimming;
Requirements for grass clipping cleanup;
Additional gardening services;
Special requests made by the customer.
Price Transparency Principle
If additional charges or adjustments to service fees are required due to actual service conditions, Curbgrasscut will, to the extent possible, explain the relevant costs to the customer before providing such additional paid services.
If a revised quote is required, the customer may decide whether to proceed with the service after confirming the relevant costs.
Payment of a service deposit does not constitute authorization for Curbgrasscut to charge any undisclosed additional fees without prior explanation or confirmation.
- Booking and Service Confirmation
Booking requests submitted via the website are considered officially confirmed only after the service time and conditions have been verified.
Customers should provide accurate information when booking, including:
Customer name;
Contact phone number;
Service address;
Preferred date and time;
Approximate lawn area;
Current lawn condition;
Property access method;
Parking or access restrictions;
Any special service requirements;
Other information that may affect service scheduling.
If the website booking system involves text input, customers should enter addresses, dates, service descriptions, and other booking details in English, following the on-screen prompts, to ensure accurate processing.
A booking request does not constitute final confirmation of service. The scheduled time is considered confirmed only after Curbgrasscut has officially confirmed the booking.
- Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing Curbgrasscut with truthful, complete, and accurate information regarding the service and for cooperating with the scheduling and on-site service arrangements.
The customer shall ensure that:
The service address is accurate;
Service personnel can access the property at the scheduled time;
Access restrictions—such as security gates, parking limitations, key requirements, fencing, or other entry barriers—are disclosed in advance;
Information regarding lawn size and condition is as accurate as possible;
Obvious obstacles are removed from the lawn prior to service;
Items such as children’s toys, gardening tools, pet supplies, and other objects that might interfere with mowing operations are cleared away;
Special lawn areas or locations requiring particular attention are identified in advance;
The presence of pets, automatic irrigation systems, electrical wiring, decorative items, or other potential hazards is disclosed in advance.
If the failure to provide critical information results in changes to the scope, timing, or pricing of the service, Curbgrasscut may need to re-evaluate the service arrangements.
- Property, Lawn, and On-site Items
Curbgrasscut provides on-site lawn mowing and related maintenance services; the customer retains responsibility for their property, lawn, and personal items located on the premises.
Before service begins, the customer should properly secure or remove valuables, fragile items, and any other objects unsuitable for the work area.
Unless explicitly included in the service scope, Curbgrasscut does not automatically provide:
Cleanup of large amounts of debris;
Trash or waste removal;
Disposal of large branches or timber;
Soil work or landscaping modifications;
Professional tree felling;
Large-scale weed clearing;
Hedge trimming;
Other gardening tasks outside the scope of the original booking.
For lawns that are exceptionally tall, overgrown, heavily weed-infested, or contain significant obstacles, the customer should provide as accurate a description as possible when booking the service.
- Service Location and Site Conditions
There may be discrepancies between the lawn information provided during online booking and the actual conditions observed by service personnel upon arrival at the site. Curbgrasscut may need to re-evaluate service arrangements if any of the following situations arise on-site:
The lawn area is significantly larger than indicated in the booking information;
The grass height or growth density significantly exceeds the scope of standard mowing;
There is a significant amount of debris or obstacles;
Access to the property is difficult;
There are obvious safety hazards on the ground;
The lawn area is unsuitable for the use of standard equipment;
The customer requests services not included in the original booking;
Other circumstances that may affect the successful completion of the service.
Wherever reasonably practicable, Curbgrasscut will communicate with the customer to discuss adjusting the scope of service, rescheduling, or providing a quote for additional services based on the actual conditions.
- Additional Services
Customers may request additional lawn care or basic gardening services as needed.
Any paid services falling outside the scope of the original booking may require a separate assessment.
Curbgrasscut will not knowingly perform unconfirmed additional work as a paid service without first informing the customer of the associated costs.
If additional services incur extra charges, Curbgrasscut will—to the extent possible—explain these costs to the customer before the service begins or the additional work is carried out, and will obtain customer confirmation where necessary.
- Appointment Modifications and Rescheduling
If a customer needs to change:
the service date;
the service time;
the service address;
the scope of lawn services;
service requirements;
or other appointment details,
they should contact Curbgrasscut via official contact channels as soon as possible.
Rescheduling an appointment is subject to the availability of service slots and personnel at the time.
If the requested changes significantly increase the workload or alter the original service conditions, the service price and appointment time may need to be reconfirmed.
- Appointment Cancellation
Customers may cancel service appointments in accordance with Curbgrasscut’s refund policy and applicable UK consumer protection laws.
Cancellation requests should be submitted via official contact channels.
To facilitate processing, customers should provide the following information where possible:
customer name;
appointment date;
service address;
appointment reference number (if applicable);
registered contact phone number or email address;
reason for cancellation (if applicable).
The timing of the cancellation, whether the service has already commenced, the extent of services already provided, and the specific circumstances of the appointment may affect the processing of the refund.
- Service Deposits and Refunds
Service deposits are primarily used to secure the appointment time and initiate service arrangements.
If a customer cancels an appointment, fails to provide necessary access, requests to reschedule, or if the service has been partially provided, the handling of the deposit and any refundable amount will depend on the specific circumstances and applicable laws.
Refund requests will be reviewed in accordance with Curbgrasscut’s refund policy.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the customer’s original payment method.
The actual time taken for funds to be received may depend on the processing times of payment institutions, banks, or other payment service providers.
- UK Consumer Rights
These terms are not intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any rights granted to consumers under UK law that cannot be excluded or restricted by law.
Depending on the nature of the service, the method of booking, and the customer’s location, applicable UK consumer protection laws may grant customers statutory rights regarding service quality, contract information, cancellation, refunds, or other matters.
If any part of these terms conflicts with applicable mandatory legal provisions, the relevant legal provisions shall prevail to the extent required by law.
- Service Provision
Subject to formal confirmation of the appointment and reasonable operating conditions, Curbgrasscut will provide the agreed-upon on-site mowing service.
Actual service times may vary based on the following factors:
Lawn area;
Grass height and density;
Current condition of the lawn;
Property accessibility;
Ground conditions;
Weather conditions;
Parking and equipment access;
On-site obstacles;
Other unforeseen on-site factors beyond reasonable control.
Estimated completion times are for reference only; the actual time required may be adjusted based on on-site conditions.
Should issues arise during the service that affect its normal completion, Curbgrasscut will communicate with the customer as soon as reasonably practicable to seek an appropriate solution.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Curbgrasscut shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the specific location of the service and the customer.
Mandatory consumer protection regulations applicable to the customer shall prevail over any conflicting contractual terms.
Nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory rights to which consumers are entitled by law.
